DESCRIPTION
THINK GLOBAL has been appointed as leading consultant to produce the Kampala oral solid drugs Production Plant Pre-Feasibility Study for the development of identified industrial projects of Guardian Health Ltd..
Guardian Health Ltd had been looking to expand into Manufacturing by building and operating a state-of-the-art oral solid drugs Manufacturing Facility in Kampala. The facility is expected to boast a capacity of over 120 million capsules and 720 million tablets p.a.
Following an assessment mission, THINK GLOBAL has selected and involved relevant experts in the fields of Pharmaceutical Production and Supply Chain to develop the study.
Unfortunately, due to low marginal profit and high investment costs, the project has shown to be not profitable in the medium term and has been therefore abandoned. Guardian Health Ltd. is nowadays prospering with pharmacy businesses and keeps enlarging their presence in the Country.
